Verdict
GetYourGuide is a sound second tab to keep open for Odaiba. Its standard terms are forgiving, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before on most activities. It is strong on teamLab Planets, yakatabune dinner cruises and go-kart tours. It is weaker on the DECKS and DiverCity attractions, and its Joypolis ticket comes through a reseller with an exchange step.
If you are coming from Europe or the US and already use the app, it is a comfortable way to book the bigger items. For a full day of DECKS tickets, Klook covers more.
What GetYourGuide sells for Odaiba
Most Odaiba listings sit under GetYourGuide’s general Tokyo location. There is also a smaller Odaiba location page with an entry-tickets category, and a separate teamLab Planets page. In practice you will search by attraction name.

Booking and entry at Odaiba venues
GetYourGuide sends a mobile voucher. At the venue, the result depends on who supplied the ticket.
Joypolis. The park lists Klook, Trip.com, KKday and Rakuten Travel Experiences as its official overseas online sellers. GetYourGuide is not on that list, so its Joypolis tickets come through a reseller, and one listing states that an exchange is required. That is not a scam. It does mean an extra counter stop and one more party between you and the park. Gate prices for reference: ¥1,700 for entry only, ¥6,000 for the Passport with unlimited rides.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Like every third-party ticket, it counts as “unreserved” under LEGOLAND’s official FAQ: you enter when a slot is free. For a weekend or holiday visit, buy the official timed ticket.
teamLab Planets. You book an entry time. The official DMM store lets you change the date up to 2 hours before, up to 3 times. Check whether the GetYourGuide listing allows changes before you rely on it.
Water bus. The Tokyo Mizube Line water bus has been suspended since 19 January 2026, while Tokyo Cruise still sails between Asakusa and Odaiba Seaside Park. Before booking any water bus listing, check which company runs it and that it is sailing on your date.
Miraikan. The museum is closed for renovation from 1 October 2026 to 22 April 2027 and reopens on 23 April 2027. The GetYourGuide ticket is only usable from that date.

For the attractions both platforms carry, the table below shows the live prices side by side. Compare them with the official yen price on each attraction page before you choose. We have no evidence that either platform is consistently cheaper in Odaiba.

A point on the go-kart tours: whichever site you use, street karts need a paper 1949 Geneva Convention international driving permit, plus your home licence and passport. A 1968 Vienna Convention permit is refused, and there is no refund if you arrive without the right documents.
Cancellations and refunds
This is GetYourGuide’s strongest area. Most activities can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before. “Reserve now and pay later” is available on listings with free cancellation and instant confirmation, and your card is charged 72 hours before the activity. Refunds take 3 to 5 business days.
Two limits. Some listings are non-refundable, so read the terms on each one. And the venue’s own rules still apply behind the scenes: teamLab Planets does not refund tickets at all, so a flexible GetYourGuide teamLab listing is doing you a favour the venue doesn’t.
Customer service record
As checked in September 2026, GetYourGuide scored 3.9 on Trustpilot from 56,429 reviews, with 19% of them one-star. The recurring complaints are operators who cancel or don’t show up, vouchers refused at the door, rigid non-refundable terms and slow support.
The app tells a different story: 4.89 on the US App Store from about 325,000 ratings, on the same check. The gap suggests the software is not the problem; the Trustpilot complaints are about bookings. For Odaiba, the “voucher refused” complaint is the one to take seriously, which is another reason to avoid reseller tickets at venues that name their official sellers.

Use it if you want to keep cancellation open until the day before, or if you are booking a teamLab slot, a yakatabune evening or a kart tour and already trust the app. It is also a useful price check against Klook for the attractions both sell.
Skip it for Joypolis, where an official seller is available, and for DECKS attractions it doesn’t carry.
