A note on money: we have no affiliate relationship with Headout and earn nothing if you book there. The buttons on this page go to Klook and GetYourGuide, which do pay us a commission. We compare Headout because readers ask about it, and in a couple of cases it sells something the others don’t package the same way.
Verdict
Headout is a reasonable fallback for Odaiba, and its combo tickets are the main reason to look. The Joypolis ticket we checked is non-refundable, can’t be rescheduled, and has to be exchanged at a redemption point with photo ID. For single tickets, Klook sells the same venues with official-seller status at Joypolis. For flexible cancellation, GetYourGuide is usually better.
What Headout sells for Odaiba
Headout’s Odaiba list is short but covers the headline venues:
- Tokyo Joypolis 1-Day Passport
- LEGOLAND Discovery Center entry
- Madame Tussauds entry
- LEGOLAND + Madame Tussauds combo (both in DECKS Tokyo Beach)
- teamLab Planets, with an optional Premium Pass
- Joypolis + teamLab Planets combo
- Street Kart 120-minute tour over Rainbow Bridge and around Tokyo Bay
The combos are the distinctive part. Joypolis and teamLab Planets pair well: teamLab is in Toyosu, 1 minute from Shin-Toyosu station, and Joypolis is 2 minutes from Odaiba-kaihinkoen on the same Yurikamome line. A teamLab morning followed by an afternoon in DECKS is the core of our one-day itinerary.
The LEGOLAND and Madame Tussauds combo reportedly requires both visits on the same day. They are in the same building, so that is easy, but remember LEGOLAND’s adult rule: adults must come with at least one child aged 15 or under.
If you would rather buy each ticket separately from a partner we can vouch for, these are the Klook equivalents:

How entry works at Odaiba venues
Joypolis. Headout’s Joypolis Passport is a mobile voucher. You show it with photo ID at a redemption point and receive your ticket there. It is not a direct gate scan. Joypolis lists Klook, Trip.com, KKday and Rakuten Travel Experiences as its official overseas online sellers, and Headout is not among them. Klook’s ticket also involves a counter exchange, so the practical difference is small, but you are buying one step further from the park. Gate prices for reference: ¥6,000 for the adult Passport, ¥1,700 for entry only.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Any ticket bought from a third party is “unreserved” under LEGOLAND’s official FAQ. You enter when a slot is free, and a time is not guaranteed. That applies to Headout, Klook and GetYourGuide alike. On weekends and holidays, the official timed ticket is the safer buy.
teamLab Planets. The official DMM store lets you change the date up to 2 hours before entry, up to 3 times. teamLab does not refund tickets. The Premium Pass (¥12,000 on the official store) has no time slot and gives priority entry.
Street Kart. The tour starts from Street Kart’s Tokyo Bay shop in Shin-Kiba, not in Odaiba. You need a paper 1949 Geneva Convention international driving permit, your home licence and your passport (or one of the licence-plus-translation alternatives in our Street Kart review). Card, digital or photocopied permits are rejected, and there is no refund if your documents don’t qualify. Read our go-kart guide before you book on any platform.
Prices and the Best Price Guarantee
Headout’s page titles advertise a “Best Price Guarantee”, and the Joypolis page shows “100% ticket/experience guarantee” badges. We treat both as marketing: we have no evidence that Headout is cheaper than Klook or the gate for any Odaiba venue.
Headout shows prices in your local currency, based on where you browse from. That makes a quick comparison with the yen gate price harder. Convert before you compare, and check the card prices below against it.
| Platform | Product | From | Rating | link |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Klook | Tokyo Joypolis Ticket | $28.75lowest | ★ 4.4 (4,130) | See ticket |
| GetYourGuide | Tokyo: Odaiba Joypolis Ticket (Exchange Required) | $62 | — | See ticket |
Cancellations and refunds
The Headout Joypolis listing is non-refundable and can’t be rescheduled. That matches the venue: Joypolis doesn’t refund tickets after purchase, and teamLab Planets doesn’t refund at all. Treat every Headout ticket for Odaiba as fixed unless the listing clearly says otherwise.
Trustpilot reviewers also report that Headout sometimes asks for evidence, such as timestamped photos, before approving a refund. If a venue turns you away, take photos at the counter.
Customer service record
As checked in September 2026, Headout scored 4.4 on Trustpilot from 63,754 reviews, 17,982 of them in the previous 12 months. The Joypolis listing itself showed 4.5 from 2,448 reviews. Complaints focus on meeting-point confusion, refund requests that need proof, and unhelpful support. Meeting points matter less for Odaiba, where most products are venue tickets rather than tours; the kart tour is the exception.
The Headout app scored 4.65 on the US App Store from about 7,700 ratings on the same check.
For comparison: Klook 4.5 and GetYourGuide 3.9 on Trustpilot at the same date.
Pros and cons
Pros

- teamLab Premium Pass available as an add-on
- Solid Trustpilot score with a large review base
- Covers the main DECKS attractions
Cons
- Not an official Joypolis seller; photo ID and voucher exchange needed

- LEGOLAND tickets unreserved, as with any third party
- Local-currency pricing makes gate comparisons harder
- Short Odaiba list: we found no Trick Art, Small Worlds, cruise or Odaiba pass listings
Who should use Headout
Use Headout if one of its combos fits your exact plan and you are certain of the date, or if Klook is sold out for a day you need. Everyone else is better served by Klook for Odaiba tickets, by GetYourGuide when free cancellation matters, and by the official teamLab and LEGOLAND sites when date changes or guaranteed entry matter.

Questions visitors ask
Is Headout legit for Odaiba tickets?
It is a large, established booking site: 4.4 on Trustpilot from 63,754 reviews, checked September 2026. It is not on Joypolis's list of official online sellers, so its Joypolis ticket is a voucher you exchange on site.
Can I get a refund on Headout's Joypolis ticket?
No. The listing we checked is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Joypolis itself does not refund tickets after purchase either.
Does Headout sell a Joypolis and teamLab Planets combo?
Yes, as one listing. The two venues are on the same Yurikamome line: Shin-Toyosu for teamLab, Odaiba-kaihinkoen for Joypolis. See our one-day itinerary for how to order them.
Are Headout LEGOLAND tickets timed?
LEGOLAND's official FAQ says tickets from third-party sellers are unreserved, so entry happens when a slot is free. For weekends and holidays, the official timed ticket is safer.
Is Headout's Best Price Guarantee worth relying on?
Treat it as a marketing claim. Compare the price with Klook, GetYourGuide and the official yen price before you decide.
